How to guides

Your account, plainly

Your favourites, playlists and saved mixes belong to your account and follow you to any device you sign in on. Audio saved for offline use belongs to the device, not the account. Your subscription is managed from My account, and cancelling stops future billing rather than ending the period you have paid for.

What follows you, and what does not

This is the thing most worth understanding, because it decides where you set a session up and what you lose if a phone goes in a sink.

WhatFollows your account
FavouritesYes — every device
PlaylistsYes — every device
Saved mixesYes — every device
Track orderYes — every device
Audio saved offlineNo — that device only
Home screen iconNo — that device only

So build a session anywhere, and save it for offline on the device you will actually use in the room. If you replace that device, the favourites are waiting; the audio needs saving again.

Signing in on a new device

Sign in as usual and everything that follows your account appears. There is no limit to the devices you may use — but the account is yours, for your practice. It is not a login to share with colleagues, and the licence does not extend to anyone else's work.

Pausing or cancelling

Cancel from My account. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not cut the period you have already paid for, so access continues until the date shown there.

What happens to recordings you have already made

Work already published remains licensed. A recording you made and released while subscribed stays licensed after your subscription ends. You do not have to take anything down.

You may not create new recordings or download further tracks after your subscription ends. The licence covers what was made during the term, not what comes after it.

Your saved work while cancelled

Favourites, playlists and mixes are held against your account. Audio already saved on a device stays there until the device clears it — see Working with no connection for how long that is on an iPhone.

⚠ CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLISHING: how long account data is kept after a cancellation, and what happens on re-subscribing.

Billing

Payment is taken through Shop Pay and subscriptions run monthly or annually. Invoices and payment method are in My account.

To confirm before this page goes live

⚠ Refunds — the policy, and the window.

⚠ Notice period, if any, on an annual plan.

⚠ Whether a plan may be changed mid-term, and what happens to the balance.

In summary: your favourites, playlists and mixes follow your account. Offline audio stays on the device that saved it. Cancelling ends future billing, and work you have already published stays licensed.

Questions

If I cancel, do I lose the mixes I built?

They are held against your account rather than deleted when a subscription ends. Access to the players stops at the end of the period you have paid for, and your saved work is there if you return.

Can I use one account on my laptop and my phone?

Yes, on as many of your own devices as you like. Favourites, playlists and mixes appear on each. Audio saved for offline use does not travel — it stays on the device that saved it.

Can I share my login with a colleague?

No. The account and its licence cover your own practice. A colleague needs their own subscription, and the licence does not extend to work they produce.

What happens to recordings I published while subscribed?

Work already published remains licensed. You may not create new recordings or download further tracks after your subscription ends.

How do I change my payment details?

From My account, which opens your Shop Pay details. Changing a card there updates the subscription without interrupting it.
